A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…
LIVE @ THE LUNCHBOX!
On August 14, 2012, Live @ The Lunchbox took a wild turn and made everyone’s inner nerd come through as we held a Star Wars themed performance. With a Stormtrooper, Darth Vader and Boba Fett running around, we surely captured the audience’s attention. Tiffany sat down with one of our performers, Kiani Sansom, to chat about who she is and what she is doing here.
Who or what inspired you to start playing your instrument and singing?
Growing up in a musical family and I had a music teacher as an aunt. Also, my mother passed away and I used music as a way to turn something horrible into something beautiful.
Who are your main influences for your performances?
I would say that my main influences are Demi Lovato and John Mayer.
What is your favourite original song to perform and why?
My favourite original song to perform is a song called ‘Diaries of Me’ and I enjoy this because of the way it sounds and its also my favourite song I have written.
What is your favourite cover song to perform and why?
My favourite cover song to perform is a song called ‘Happily Ever After’ by He is We. I like to perform this song because it is a feel good song with a positive vibe.
If you could perform with any person, past or present, who would it be and why?
I would definitely have to say Demi Lovato because she is my main inspiration and it would be amazing to share the stage with someone who has impacted my life in such a positive way.
Would you rather be with The Jedi’s or The Sith?
The Sith
Would you rather a pet wookiee or a pet ewok?
A Pet Ewok
What is the most interesting trip you have ever taken?
In August last year, my best friend and I slept out the front of a concert venue for 28 hours before a concert.
What is your favourite breakfast food?
Strawberry frosted poptarts.
If you had a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I would give half to a music based charity and I would use the other half to travel to America and enjoy a nice holiday.
What was the first CD you ever bought?
Aqua’s self titled album.
If you only had five minutes to perform, before the world ended, what song would you perform?
Skyscraper by Demi Lovato because I would like the last song people here to have a positive message.
If you were a biscuit, what sort would you be?
A Choc-Chip cookie, because everyone likes a choc-chip cookie.
